AWSCO
Was the shortest .com.au domain we could get, which was an abbreviation for Adelaide Whitegoods Specialists Company. We started the business back when the internet was only a small percentage of our advertising budget. Yellow Pages was still the dominant place to get the jobs we required.
We decided to be an early adopter of Google’s power to reach our specific demographics and jumped in without waders! We dropped our yellow pages etc. and concentrated on Google. It proved to be a great success for us.
But Google stands still for no man. The rate of change to remain at the top of the first page became a job unto itself. We learnt very quickly that no one searches for Whitegoods or Specialists for that matter.
Adelaide Appliance Repairs
So back on 2016 we chose to change our primary name from Adelaide Whitegoods Specialist to Adelaide Appliance Repairs. This was also soon to change. What we didn’t anticipate was the amount of calls we got that didn’t relate to the work we do. We had to narrow down the customers we were able to help.
Adelaide Oven Repairs
We have owned an operated Adelaide Oven Repairs for most of our trading history. Unfortunately when this all started it was too small a category for Google to deal with. But that isn’t true anymore, in fact it is the opposite almost. We have companies now that have decided that Oven repairs are now equal to the Washing Machine repair market. And we suspect will eventually become the star of the large appliance market.
Adelaide Washing Machine Repairs
We purchased this domain at the same time we bought Adelaide Oven Repairs. We have traded under this banner for almost as long as Adelaide Whitegoods Specialists. Although we only do a few of the local poplular brands these days as we slowly focus almost exclusively on Oven Repairs.
